Hi there! I’m Chris Davis and I grew up in Haddonfield, NJ in a family where caring for others wasn’t a profession, it was a way of life. With a medical lineage spanning nurses, physicians, and specialists, medicine runs deep in my family. My grandfather practiced as an OB/GYN, a legacy that would later shape my commitment to prenatal care as a specialty of my own. My hands-on instincts showed up long before any formal training, as one of six siblings, I was the one working out everyone’s knots at the dinner table. I was born to use my hands for healing others.
Orthotherapy is not traditional spa massage. I bring a distinctly clinical focus to every session, working with bodies under stress, dysfunction, and imbalance. Orthotherapy is a specialized, holistic healthcare approach that combines orthopedic massage therapy and kinesitherapy, including joint mobilization, to treat and prevent musculoskeletal dysfunction. By integrating deep-tissue massage, posture re-education, and corrective movement, my goal is simple: restore balance, resolve pain, and return you to optimal function.
I hold a BA from Georgetown University and an MBA from Boston University, and trained in clinical massage therapy at the Barberio School of Massage, one of New Jersey’s most established programs, under Rob Barberio, a 35-year clinical massage and physical therapist. That foundation set the tone for a career defined by continued, rigorous specialty training:
